Earl & Rosetta Ziegler Lot# T 30, Wisconsin Rapids, WI. We enjoy keeping informed about all the news from the park, I have also been forwarding to a former resident that can no longer travel south for the winter. We would like to extend a BIG THANK YOU to Jan & Al for hosting the Wisconsinite gathering in Marshfield, they did a terrific job, weather was beautiful, camping on the Fair Grounds was very comfortable (there were six of us) you guys that didn't attend missed a very nice outing!!!!! Looking forward to seeing everyone in November. Safe travels to everyone and our best wishes to Bonnie for good results on her tests and a quick recovery to good health, our prayers are with you, Bonnie.

Hi, from Rod & Carol Schilling (306)

I was just wondering if someone out there can give me more info about Wanda Green. She was in our quilting class. I really liked her and just curious if she had children, and grandchildren. How is her husband doing? I can't remember his name. Will he stay down there and where were they from originally? You all have our deepest sympathy, I am sure that she will be dearly missed. We plan on leaving here on Oct. 21st. to come live in Texas again. We are getting excited to see all our friends down there and even hope to meet new ones. See you soon.

Hi Everyone We will leave home Oct 26th to come back to the valley. Can't wait to see all our friends. It's getting cold here in Ohio lots of rain. We should be there about the 30th if the Good Lords willing. See you then.

Hi everyone, this is to let you all know that John came through the surgery just fine. He had a spinal tap, as they were afraid of general anesthesia, considering John's age (90).

Saw him briefly after the surgery. He is in good spirits, and ready to start rehab! Was told that it would bgin tomorrow. He will be in ICU overnight, and possibly longer, until they are sure he is stable in all departments. Lila Holmblade W127

(John fell at home and broke his hip, had surgery the next day.)

I finally am able to get back on line. It took two weeks to get a phone, and another week to get my dsl hooked up. Had a good trip up north, and am very happy with my apartment. It's all brand new with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths, washer and dryer, dishwasher, micro, and garbage disposal. Also have two big walk in closets. All very accessible to most of anything I should need. I'll tell you next spring how I enjoyed the rest of it.

Barb Goff A26 the interest in the News Letter is to keep it going. I am going to send the letter throughout the winter – every two weeks if I get a few letters. If there aren’t any letters, maybe just once a month. Let’s play it by ear for a while. I’m sure that you all will have some news to share with your BG family all year long.

I’m playing around with a site to post your pictures. One site that everyone can use to post and share. I’m not sure if the site will have a limit on the number of postings or not. I hope to have some concrete info for you in a couple of weeks when the next News Letter comes out.

If you need something to be sent out before or on a certain date, please let me know and I will be glad to do it – even if it is just one letter that I would be sending..

Betty Skilling A28 is in the Cuyuna Range Med Ctr in Crosby, MN with a mild heart attack and pneumonia. She should be out of ICU this evening. Remember her in your prayers.

Wilma Mueller, A47-Another one of our residents will be leaving us. Ed Balash, (also known as "Fast Eddie)A53, is going back to MI. Ed has been here 20+ years & thinks he wants to shovel snow. Just kidding as Ed is 92 & thinks it's time to stay with relatives. Jim & Rae Kirk had a cake & ice cream get together for the residents. I imagine there were about 60 there to see & talk with Ed & wish him God speed. Ed played a lot of horseshoes & was a good bowler & also played pool. We always miss our friends when they leave us. Good-By & good luck Eddie.
