SUMMER NEWS LETTER #11

HI FROM DALE & JAN RIGGINS #513, MONTICELLO, IL. July 21

We just returned from Missouri and attended the family campers and rv convention in Sedalia.

We both sang in the choir for Sunday service and Jan played in the fcrv band concert and parade. We then went on to Branson to see our granddaughter perform in the great American country show at night after Silver Dollar city park closes. She also performed in veggie tales.

While in Branson we visited with Bob and Lorraine Howard (b-1) several times. We had a propane leak on our trailer on the way home and got it fixed making us arrive home at 2 am last sat. morn. We feel sorry for the 100+ weather while we are 70's days and 50's night. We sleep with the windows open. Thank you Barb for doing the newsletter, we sure enjoy it.

You make a lot of great friends at Bentsen Grove. What started out to be just a small get together of three couples, grew into 11 couples and all met in Danbury, Wi. for a week the 14th of July. What a fun time! We as a group went to Grantsburg, Wi. to watch the Motor Cross races. These are snowmobiles running on water. Very interesting. Anyway a big thanks for Dale and Jane Ilgen for organizing this and even though the weather didn't cooperate too well we all did have a real good time. One day some of us went on to Duluth, and Superior to visit the towns. Its always more fun and you see more with someone that has been there or lives close by. We came away planning on making this a annual or semi-annual get together. I know we're looking foreword to getting together again in the future. Wisconsin weather in the 70's and cooler at night.

Barb and Ron Fischer Lot 228 July 24 On July 14th for a week George & Gwen Johnsen MN #514,Russ & Diane Sutton MN #232, Larry & Barb Heaberlin MO #210, Dennis & Jean Schentzel SD #219, Jim & Lois Terpstra MN #B21, Dale & Jane Ilgen WI #223, Don & Dean Bowman MO & SD # 212, Ron & Barb Fischer WI # 228, Gloria & Arvid Boyum MN #E47, Ken & MaryLou Mades MO # 207, These people camped and then one day Rich & Shirely Klepson MN #209 and Gary & Marvel Seedorf MN #206, came over for a few hours At Danbury Wisconsin at the Hole In the Wall Camp ground and Casino. We all had a great time Many went to Superior, Hayward, snow mobile races and casino, no one lost much. We had great food, cards, and camp fires, as the weather was cool, and rain off and on. We are looking forward to another get together this winter at BG and then again next summer. We hope every one is having a good summer, and have safe travels.
