June 4
Letting you know that Erick, son of Gladys
and Don Smith D19 passed away yesterday of a severe seizure. A lot of
the folks in Bentsen Grove became acquainted with Erick this past
season. He was a very pleasant and friendly young man, and will be
sadly missed by many.

June 4 sad day today, I ate the last of my 100 grapefruit I
brought from my tree on w-218. and nothing from my Wis. garden for
awhile so I'll have to be content with all store-bought food. We're
both doing fine. We enjoy reading the newsy e-mail.
From Barbara and Richard McConnell T66 MO We
would like to receive the monthly newsletters from the park.. We are
Barbara and Richard McConnell from the Missouri group and we stay on

occurred. Hello to all that are still there and we look forward to

Ivan & Donna Stanwood, W134, June 16
returned to B/G today, June 15, from a trip to a granddaughter's
wedding in Missouri. The ceremony took place May 16th, in spite of a
tornado, loss of electricity, caterer's inability to serve, honeymoon
changed from Cozumel because of swine flu, etc.! We drove on to
Illinois to visit family & friends; saw the Abraham Lincoln
Memorial Museum & Library in Springfield, Il. and stopped in
Ashdown, Arkansas with a dear friend for a few days. It's good to be
home again.

Hi Everyone
I am
writing to inform all of our friends that we will be leaving the park
the first part of August. We will be moving to Enid, Okla to a
village much the same as John Knox Village in Weslaco. With our
health the way it is, we thought it was the time to go. We will
really miss all of our friends. We are very sorry that we will be
gone when most of you arrive.
Doris
and I want to thank all of our faithful friends that helped in the
auction. Some of you started with us. You all hold a special place in
our hearts. Hopefully someone will step up to the plate, and carry on
with the auction. We also want to thank Bonnie for all her help.
Our
house is now on the market. It is on a prime spot in the park. The
yard is neatly manicured. If anyone is interested in a fully
furnished, (including appliances) 2 bedroom house with a bath and
half, let me know.
Goodbye
everyone, and take care. Ed and Doris Wofford

for many years and will surely be missed by many.
From Candy and Jack Scott June 22,
Saturday we were able to put our pontoon in the lake.
We were either gone or the weather was not very nice. I am always
happy when I can get out on the lake. Jack is very busy with his
gardening. Soon we will be getting ready for our Annual 4th of July
Picnic on Round Lake. We have anywhere to 35 - 50 people that show up
to this each year. So, if you are in the area please stop in for a
bite to eat . Then come the 15th of July our daughter and a friend
and a total of 6 kids and a dog( from Austin, TX.) are coming for a
month at the lake. Also our daughter from MN will be coming with her
2 boys and a dog. The single daughter from Austin, TX is coming for
the 4th and after the rest of the mob leave. Should be very very
interesting.!!!!! And very busy!!!! I have thought of leaving and
occupying the daughter's home in Edina.
