SUMMER NEWS LETTER 03
April 22 , 2009
BETTY SKILLINGS A-28 MN April 8
I'm home!!!!!!!!!!!!
Had a two hour wait in McAllen before we could even take off. they had storms in Houston and nothing was landing or taking off. I did make my connection to MSP because that was delayed half an hour. My granddaughter was just pulling in the parking lot when we landed. It all worked out fine. my great grandson plays the cello in an orchestra and he was playing that evening so I got to attend that concert. Friday I worked as an usher at the shrine circus for two performances. Then went to the wilds hockey game at night. Which they won 4-0. Came home on Saturday all was well here. Very little snow. So good to get back in my home church. Tonight is choir practice for easter. Guess I'm back in the swing of things. Love to all Betty Skillings

Arrived Monday, Apr 6. There is Snow on the ground, but sidewalks and roads are clear. The Sun is shining, so that's a plus. Looking forward to "Spring".

Earl and Rosetta Ziegler Lot T30 April 8 Greetings from COOL Wisconsin. We left the park on the 24th at 8:am and arrived at home in Wisconsin Rapids on the 26th at about 4:30 PM. We had a good trip, but it's been cold and windy. We miss the warm Texas weather!! Our friends, Bruce & Carol Van Natta arrived at their home in Vesper, Wisconsin on the 28th. Looking forward to next fall if the Lord permits.
Clyde & Lois Hill W-25 April 8 Clyde always says he wants a little snow when we first get home so we can watch spring come in. We had 7 inches! The Robins are fighting over territory and the Crocus are blooming. Our permanent TX residents tell us it's really nice down there and we do miss the "shorts" weather and all of the sub-tropical plants that we can never grow here, but corn is nice too! We can envision all our Bentsen Grove friends spreading out all over the country with homes in Michigan, Wisconsin, etc. Quebec, and wish them a great summer.
We arrived home on April 2nd. We had good weather all the way. We are looking forward to another winter at Bentsen Grove. We miss all our winter friends already. It is cold here and hope for warmer days soon. See you all in the fall.
Walter and Arlene Dable Lot 323 WI April 13 I miss being there already It is still cold here . We had no problems getting home. It was sure different not towing the trailer.

We took Bonnie Newboles (W153) into Mission Hospital as she was having upper stomach pains on April 9th. They started to do a lot of test on the heart and also a lot of other test. She had a stress stress, cardiac catheterization test and a gall bladder test. It turned out to be the gall bladder. On April 15 they did the gall bladder test. They said the stone was like the size of a quarter. She is doing and feeling much better and will be going home today, April 16th or tomorrow. Her daughter Shelaine will be with her until next Tuesday. Feel free to send e-mail if you want to us and we can fill you in as much as we know. rstandor@aol.com. Hope everyone has a great summer and look forward to seeing everyone in the fall.

FW From Peggy Philbrook April 16 Last night, we received brief (no details) word that Mary Pool passed away due to heart failure. The message was passed to us by departed neighbors who got it as an answering machine message from the Pool's son.
