Barb and Ron Fischer (March 20, 2009) We arrived home here in Wisconsin Rapids 2 days ago. We still have snow in the back yard, but it does feel good to be home after 3 months. We enjoyed all the activities at Bentsen Grove again this year and god willing will be back to enjoy again next year. We had some problems on the way home but we met some nice people in Decatur City Iowa who helped us out so after a day and half we got on the road and made it home safely. Hope all is well in Bentsen Grove. The Fischer’s
Jack and Florence Burrows – A18 (March 24, 2009) Nice 70's over the week end. Tornadoes came through parts of Nebraska and Iowa and temps dropped to 35 this morning. A lot of sickness, not knowing how to dress for the day. Thanks for putting us on the list and be looking forward to the next newsletter.

Frank & Dovie Britton W90 Iowa (April 6, 2009) We finally made it back to the great state of Iowa which we had heard the weather was so great and it has been very chilly since we got home. We left Mission and stopped by Bryan and Loyce Phenix in Glen Rose, Texas (formerly W-35) and enjoyed them very much. We left there the next morning and got a call from our daughter they were expecting 2 to 4 inches of snow in Iowa the next afternoon and since that was when we were to get home we kept driving and after 19 hours of driving I got us home. After all of that it only had flurries but it was cold. Never try that again. It is good to be home but we miss the warm weather and the friendship of all our friends and neighbors. May you all have a most wonderful summer and if the good Lord lets us we'll meet again in the valley.
