Bonnie Newboles W153 Activity Office
Just to remind everyone of a few things coming up in the next few weeks. We will have an all park yard sale , in your own driveway, on Sat. Oct 25th. I put an ad for the yard sale, in the first Winter Texas Times paper, which comes out on the 23th. Due to tables being damaged, we will not be able to loan out any tables.
The Activity Office will open on Mon, Oct 13th. We will have our first Park Meeting on Oct 29th. And as always, our Halloween Party will kick off the season. So get those costumes ready, or just come enjoy the fun and friendship.
It seems like each year goes a little faster, so come join in the activities at the hall.
Bonnie
Sharon & Clem Bergstrom (and YoYo) B17 Barb, we really appreciate getting news from BGR. We left Iron Mtn Mi Monday., 10-06. Stopped to spend a night with a granddaughter in Berlin WI. Tuesday we drove "all the way" to Markesan WI to visit Ken and Bonnie Paskey. It was really worth it as she fed us a very good supper and the 4 of us played some Bid Euchre. She insisted we come back for bkfst before leaving Markesan, which we did. Again she fed us a very good meal. And we always thought she didn't cook! We are eager to get to BGR and our winter home; hope to be there by Saturday. The WI reunion was an enjoyable event and we are hoping Dennis will do it again next yr.
From Allan and Sharon, B42 Hi from NW Iowa. We are busy getting ready for the big migration. We have been to the doctor, the eye doctor, the ear guy. I guess we passed all the tests and are cleared for take-off. It sounds like we may get a freeze by this weekend. The corn fields are golden and the farmers are busy with the soybeans. We have both quit our summer jobs so we can catch up at home. I am doing pretty good with that, but Allan has a hard time staying home. There is always someone who needs help and that is more fun. We will be on our way the weekend after the election. Will be good to see Bentsen Grove and all of you. Libby is ready for a cart ride
From Dawn Schrader Lot 517; Well, here we are on the verge of another season here at Bentsen Grove. Welcome back everyone. Can't wait to start all the activities.
