Thanks John Abbott as Program Chairman for November. He did a fine job of introducing us to Open Source programs that we may use on Windows systems as well as Linux systems at no cost to us as individuals.

We do need a Program Chairman for January. As Program Chairman, your responsibility is to arrange speakers for 2 of the 4 Monday meetings (Jan 10^th and 24^th), no meeting Jan 3^rd. You would also welcome them to the meeting and introduce them prior to their presentation.

Due to the amount of information José has to bring to you, I would like to do some of his introduction here rather than to take away form his time during our meeting.

José Domínguez is a retired CPA making his primary home in the RGV. He is operating his business out of Riverton WY as well as McAllen TX. He basically turned his hobby of video and audio with computers into a successful world wide business. His website www.riowave.net will introduce you to some of his several hundred products, many are manufactured within his company and others are manufactured exclusively for his company. He created and maintains his web site which is his primary window on the world bringing him over 60,000 customers.

José’s primary message today will concern the wireless internet service operated in the RGV. Claiming to be the largest wireless internet service in the United States is centered in McAllen TX covering 5000 sq. miles from South Padre Island through Rio Grande City.
